In the left’s latest assault on the First Amendment, three Democrats on the Senate’s Committee on Environment and Public Works have sent out 100 letters to free-market think tanks and energy companies asking them to turn over funding records related to any research they’ve conducted on climate change.
In short, U.S. Sens. Ed Markey, D-Massachusetts, Barbara Boxer, D-California, and Sheldon Whitehouse, D-Rhode Island, apostles in President Barack Obama’s climate change war, are on another political witch hunt demanding donor information and other records that are protected under the Constitution

There may be state laws that allow for such inquiry per state funded institutions, but I couldn’t imagine anything in the privagte sector.

Nobody has denied “climate change,” the term environmental wackos invented when their “global warming” hoax was uncovered. It’s “global warming” that’s been debunked, not denied, especially when cold-temp records have been breaking right and left.

So “Global Warming” has depended on how close the thermometer is to that barbecue ....
There is so much money to be made in carbon trading, and so much power in being able to license “carbon” - total and complete power - that they will never give up.
Global warming is their current ticket, but if that fails, they’ll find another. With trillions of dollars and total power on the line, nothing is going to stand in their way. Certainly not us.
