This formulation should not provide much comfort to Israel.
Speaking to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Monday, American Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Powers declared, “the United States will not allow Iran to get a nuclear weapon. Period.”
Does that sound familiar?
It should. It sounds a lot like the formulation Obama used to make promises about Obamacare.
“If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period,” President Obama declared in a 2009 health care speech. “If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period.”
Well, those promises didn’t pan out so well.
The reason Benjamin Netanyahu is in America to warn about the Iranian nuclear threat is probably because he fears that to the Obama administration, “period” means “don’t believe anything we’re saying.”
It’s called Obonics.

No kidding. Just the fact that their mouth is moving is signal enough to know they’re lying. I guess when they say ‘period’ it means ‘I’m done lying for the moment.’
Actually, any motion of the lips is a signal they’re lying.
I’m sure leftists would try to say that
either you actually CAN keep your doctor, plan, and have reduced costs averaging $2500,
or Obama didn’t know that these things would not come about as intended...
or, perhaps, they’ll try to qualify that IF you jump through hoop A,B, and C on your left foot while squinting your right eye, you could keep your doctor, plan, and save $2500...
But they (the sheeperal at least) will never admit that this was an intentional deception.

No, Obama’s lips moving means he’s lying.
“Period” is short for, “(you’re an idiot if you believe that)”. As in: “If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor, (you’re an idiot if you believe that).
“If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period.”
The Fraud’s bootlickers assure us that he was just “generalizing”.
