“Wait, are you a cop?”
I was for 5 1/2 years back in the early 70’s (Sheriff’s Deputy actually), what possible difference would that make in my opinion. I said in an earlier post that most likely their encounters with law enforcement was self inflicted. Why would I say that, because that’s what I experienced.
Why did they encounter law enforcement to start out with? Could it possibly be because they violated the law? I’ve seen simple road side citations for speeding turn into a night in jail. You have a problem with a citation take it before the Judge, we’re not going to hold court on the side of the road. Your running 7 over the speed limit and get pulled over. In the process of getting the citation it’s discovered that your vehicle reeks of alcohol, pot or maybe an outstanding traffic warrant. You just ruined your whole day and may have greatly effected your future. Do you blame yourself no, it’s that damn officers fault for pulling you over. Alcohol and domestic disputes follow the same pattern, neighbor call in officers respond and somebody goes to jail. Again it’s the damn police’s fault! Now that is honest example’s I’ve witnessed close to 50 times in my short career as a Peace Officer. While Steve the lawn mower guy video’s may be a YouTube hoax there’s allot of real Steve’s out there and they hate the cop’s. They voice their opinion all over the net daily.
That’s a lot of writing to inadequately explain your logical fallacy.
