This organization called “Cru” used to be called Campus Crusade for Christ. They changed their name to appease liberals and deemphasize Christianity and Christ and try to broaden their appeal. Their reward? They get banned from campus anyway. So why try to appease liberals???
Way back when I was in jr. high, Campus Crusade for Christ came to our school. As far as I know, no one complained. I am sure the teachers welcomed them as a calming influence on crazy teens. Jr. high is a confusing time. Would not want to go through it again.
