US Senator Dianne Feinstein said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's claim that he represents all Jews is "arrogant." Feinstein, a senior Jewish senator was referencing comments by Netanyahu before he took off for the US, and said that he does not speak for her.
"He doesn’t speak for me on this," the California Democratic senator told CNN's State of the Union Sunday. "I think it’s a rather arrogant statement. I think the Jewish community is like any other community. There are different points of view. I think that arrogance does not befit, Israel, candidly."
Prominent members of the US Jewish community have urged Netanyahu to delay the speech until after the elections, and dozens of Democratic politicians will be missing when Netanyahu speaks Tuesday, among them Vice President Joe Biden, whose absence behind the prime minister as he speaks will be most conspicuous.
"I intend to go, and I’ll listen respectfully," Feinstein said. "I don’t intend to jump up and down."

The answer lies in this question. Is a Jew a Jew because of his nationality or because of what he believes?
These aren’t normal times when Jews can safely indulge themselves in philosophically discussing their Zionist or non-Zionist differences.
Iran has long declared its hatred for Israel. It has also declared its intention to destroy it and is now attempting to build nuclear weapons to carry out its final solution to the Israel question — just as the Third Reich in Germany once intended to build death camps for European Jews to carry out ITS version of the Final Solution, and, since it was not prevented from doing so, went ahead and murdered six million Jews.
Today, our president has taken the side of the Israel-hating Iranians. He wants to help them build the nuclear weapons they so desire so that they can ‘’wipe Israel off the map,’’ as they’ve previously stated.
In these circumstances, there are no gray areas. One either supports the Iranians, their anti-Israel intentions, and their champion Barack Obama, or they support the prime minister of Israel who wants to protect his country from annihilation.
The fact that Jewish Americans like Dianne Feinstein have reached the point where they have chosen to support Obama and the Iranians instead of Benjamin Netanyahu and their Jewish brothers and sisters in Israel whom the Iranians would like to destroy marks a dark chapter for Judaism in America.
But if Judaism has survived for more than three thousand years, it is also likely to survive the sneering attacks by Dianne Feinstein. And since Jews have not only survived but have also written the histories of their struggles and of their enemies, it is likely that Senator Feinstein will not fare well in the annals of her people.

He didn’t say he represents “all Jews”, he said “I feel I am the representative of all Israel, even those who disagree with me.” He also said he has a responsibility to worry about the future of the Jewish people. As Israeli PM both statements come with the territory. Get off your high horse DiFi.
