I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate that the men who were "sent" to prison (of course, they didn't do anything to be incarcerated, they were just "sent") were neither "providing" nor the legal head of household for their children i.e. unmarried.
I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
Im curious as to how many fathers, if any, went to prison for breaking a federal law which the states have never delegated to Congress, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to make.
“I’m going to go out on a limb here and speculate that the men who were “sent” to prison (of course, they didn’t do anything to be incarcerated, they were just “sent”) were neither “providing” nor the legal head of household for their children i.e. unmarried.”
Yes, and while their “first providers” are in the slammer, these “rent-a-vagina” women have “moved on” to another “provider!” Their children’s last names are usually the same as mama, or they’ve been contrived just like a lot of the first names. You just have to feel sorry for the kids, because when they grow up, they will be just like “mom & dad.” Reparations won’t fix that problem.
There’s no doubt the percentage of blacks in prison is high compared to whites. For the most part it’s because they’re the ones who commit the crimes.
However, there are people in prison from all races who are there because they couldn’t afford a decent attorney. Personally I believe every defendant should be allotted the same amount of money to defend him or her self as the prosecutor and the cops have to prosecute. The justice system is not a level playing field.
You’re not wrong. The wording was “eligible fathers” which pretty well tells us that breeding kids and being a father have nothing in common.
