It’s not a legitimate donation. Does anyone actually report such services now under campaign filing?

I don’t understand the logic. If they are paying for it, it has a value.

But it’s still against the law.

Sounds like ancient Rome. No shame. Well, the taxpayers aren’t whores, but they’re certainly being treated like them, being screwed daily by our politicians. When will this madness all end? It won’t be pretty when it does.

they just made it legal for lobbying firms to purchase prostitutes to service politicians. The Committee’s determination that sex had no value

Stupidy always contradicts itself.

We always knew politicians were mostly prostituting themselves, glad they finally admitted it...

North Carolina Legalizes Prostitutes For Politicians

Would a better title be 'North Carolina Legalizes Politicians as Prostitutes.'

Is that closer to the truth since some take money for favors?

North Carolina’s State Ethics Committee has just opened up a major problem for their state — they just made it legal for lobbying firms to purchase prostitutes to service politicians. The Committee’s determination that sex had no value and that sex between a lobbyist and politician was nothing to report or in any way questionable means that a major loophole has opened up for lobbying firms. Now lobbying firms can hire people with the explicit goal to seduce and fornicate with politicians in order to garner favor.

Just for laughs, who's on the State Ethics Committee?

Between ISIS and North Carolina politics it seems utter shamelessness is the theme of the day.

Elect lawmakers who aren’t moral, and no law will restrain them.

A question to the ethics committee:

Because there is an established market price for the illegal service, wouldn't it make more sense to recognize that and require the politicians to report it?

That way even if a politician wasn't prosecuted for a crime, he or she could still be penalized for failure to disclose. Besides no matter how it is disguised, it is still a bribe which this reporting is designed to limit.

The whore has much more honor than the politician receiving her work product. The whore only F ks the politician, the politician F ks all of use.

The whore takes the politicians money, the politician pays her with our money.

I have meet a few whores that I was rather fond of, some are victims of circumstance, and or drugs. Others are whores by choice. Frequently those of choice have rather high IQs and are most intriguing and more dangerous than you can imagine. The love dancing on the edge of razor blades. The latter cost a lot more than the former and are numerous in Washington D.C. I have meet far fewer politicians that I am fond of.

The whore of politicians earns an honest living, her client is a parasite on the back of the taxpayer. The whore delivers a product at a set price dictated by rational economics. The politician sends the taxpayer the bill.

Given the choice between voting for Harry Reid or a whore, I will vote for the whore, because I will not vote for a dishonest lying parasite.
