It's simple, the "2nd Amendment" was crafted to assure that the general populace was always a viable counter balance to the might of our Federal government agencies and its “well regulated militia”. Thusly, the founders intended we, the populace, have the means (weaponry) to keep government at bay and if necessary to actually violently rebel and overthrow a despotic regime. Yes, think about it, if the police and the government's military have metal penetrating projectiles, then the general population should also. You you don't like the Bill of Rights, then change them in the prescribed Constitutional way.

Congress should ban Handguns capable of shooting 5.56 ammo.

No, they should either re-define what a "handgun" is, or simply repeal the section of the underlying law which allows unelected ATF staffers with political agendas to conjure up regulations on what ammunition is banned.

If they are going to ban ammunition, then the Congress should just list the banned ammo and vote on it. I think we'll see a very short list if members of the House have to explain their votes to their constituents.

When i came back from SouthEast Asia, i wanted no part of any rifle that was semi-auto, whether it was produced by The Free World, or from a design that originated in the Soviet bloc.

I watched, as Bill clinton signed the firearms ban. I noticed that ‘cowboy calibers and firearms’ were not affected. So i chose that route.

Now, with all DiFi’s Dummies, and the queer-in-charge trying with every fiber of their being, to take guns out of the hands of law-abiding Americans, I figured they would go after the same firearms. They tried. So, it seems that they are going for the other components, cartridges.

So, before the queer-in-charge, in his midnight confessions to his dear michael/mooch get the ideas, as you are able, switch calibers!!! The queer-in-charge thinks he has taken the sting away from all you preppers.
