I'm not Gay, but I've gone through it with one, now deceased, son.

I think scientists will someday identify the Gay Gene and major problems will result.

Those innocents carrying a gay gene, and their prodigy, might be driven from their God-Given existence thanks to rampant Gay hatred.

As Hitler killed Jews, gay gene carriers might be wiped out.

I don’t think so. There will be therapies for genetic disorders, and there is work done in genetic therapies that is both moral and efficacious.

Nobody’s talking about harvesting stem cells from aborted babies any more. Reason - getting them from the person with the disease and using them to create what you need to fight illnesses is more efficacious, less likely to produce a rejection of the therapy, and is less politically controversial.

Only the most hard-bitten sociopathic liberals are OK with harvesting medical interventions from piles of aborted children. Gosnell’s and the like.

The single biggest injustice of this whole gay movement is that a gay person who seeks a cure has been prohibited from finding one. It won’t be funded. If funded, you won’t find a lab. If you find a lab, you won’t find the staff. If you find the staff, and have a therapy, you won’t find a company willing to put it through trials in other countries. If you do, and they work, you won’t find the $1B it will take to clear the FDA approval process.

It’s daunting stuff.

Genetic therapies, however, are used for all kinds of illnesses. That they can be applied to homosexuality, or more importantly perhaps, pedophilia, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, et. al. is just fortunate.

Yeah, but that’s a little rediculous. They could easily apply the paranoia to some single guy, who may not even be homosexual, or even same-gender attracted and make him a target. Because paranoia is not rational. If anything, the Nazis were willing to thoroughly kill you because you had a parent that was Jewish, they figured it was the only way to be sure. The way that I see it, this is possible if society collapses, not if gene therapies are found. If that happens, you would see something like third world Africa where sometimes people killed other people out of paranoia that the person could give them HIV or other paranoid crap like that, or just simply kill people out of paranoia that they carry diseases or behave high-risk.

Nah. At the point where the science becomes unpoliticized enough to let true science occur, scientists will discover that homosexuality is almost totally environmental, either because of sexual experiences during adolescence (including abuse) or prenatal exposure to chemicals or hormones that increase the likelihood of same-sex attraction. They’re more likely to find a “conservative” gene than to find a “gay” one (i.e not likely at all)...
