Water is eating away at the Antarctic ice, melting it where it hits the oceans...And the melting is accelerating...Climate change has shifted the wind pattern around the continent, pushing warmer water farther north against and below the western ice sheet and the peninsula.

For an unprecedented third year in a row, Antarctica’s sea ice is poised to smash a new record this month.
The Southern Hemisphere’s unrelenting winds and frigid air froze ocean water into 7.6 million square miles (19.7 million square kilometers) of Antarctic sea ice this southern winter, the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) said yesterday (Sept. 16).
Al Gore and ilk told us that all that pesky ice would be gone by 2013.
Ask globull warming alarmists one question: What is the “correct” temperature of the earth? The ask them: Why is the temperature of the period you selected more correct than the Little Ice Age of the 19th Century or the Medieval warming period?
Even on the MSN message board, over half of the comments are laughing at the idiocy of this article.

The “experts” have been wrong about so many things -
coffee, butter, coconut oil, grains, oats, etc,
and they tried to force lifestyle changes on us according to those wrong beliefs,
how is Global Warming any different?
This just goes to show how racist the USA is.
It’s not. It is attempt by the authoritarian liberals to force a lifestyle THEY deem fitting on us. While exempting themselves, of course.
So, the world is once again returning to it’s natural temperature. Who cares.

I saw an article in the last six months that someone had gotten a device under the Antarctic sea ice and found it was much thicker than was previously thought.
