A gunman killed seven people and wounded an eighth person in an overnight house-to-house rampage in a small Missouri town before apparently committing suicide in a vehicle, authorities said Friday.

Apparently, he was upset when his mother died of natural causes, so he shot all his relatives. Nobody knows why.
Grief seems to bring out the worst in some people.
No one knows why.

Still no name of the killer. Which is sorta suspect for me. Yet with this one it might be because they need to inform next of kin.
After the plug had been pulled and the parent buried, a severe split formed in the family. I expected for a year or more that this person might do something rash to his siblings.

The Ferguson Rioters have moved on to small town America and are inflicting violence.
It’s in the Ozarks. All white and very rural. Don’t know what happened, but historically, local bosses don’t like allowing any news of feuds or other dirt to get out of the area (real estate, banking, local government).
I was named executor for both of my parents and both had living wills.
10 years ago, my mother became seriously ill, and because of her verbal request and her WRITTEN, and REGISTERED living will, the doctors had no recourse and could not use artificial means to keep her alive in a vegetative state.
She peacefully died because of her choice 25 years prior to her death.
My sister was furious to the point of insanity, and while I always carry, I really didn't want to face the option of having to shoot my own sister {but I would have, if it came to that}.
The point is, death causes normal people to behave very abnormally.

From other reports, you’ll probably eventually find several couples involved. Later on, word of drugs, divorce/separation and gossip. Not the family feuds of old, but family feuds, yes. The residents and authorities there know what was going on.
