My husband is closer to the current Captain America and Iron man than he is to their skinny “realistic” version. Some people (mostly women) are driven mad with jealousy over pretty people and want cultural ideals changed so they can be the pretty people. Never gonna happen.

I like the slender Wonder Woman better but the other one is not just awful.

Ironically, I was just thinking that Wonder Woman could use some bigger breasts, and that Super Girl needs to get that flabby rear end under control. Also that fat cow Veronica from Archie

“OMG, Captain America’s muscles make me ashamed of my body. I need to starve myself,” said no overweight male comic-book fan, ever.

How to create images that will not attract the attention of adolescent and collegiate boys/men.

Sharp marketing move for that industry...

And if comic book makers cave into their demands and make women as they want to, then they’ll complain they caved too much or find some other issue to protest over. Their addiction to being angry about something, somewhere is emotional crystal meth or LSDor PCP for them.

I’m worried about a “sharia compliant” agenda in M*rvel’s current comics with female characters garbed from head to toe in full costume, covering hair under hoods and drawn androgynous being marketed under such doubletalk BS as “female friendly”.

Yep...saw this thread and the first thing I thought was “Power Girl”. You can always find 2 or 3 (or more) Power Girl cosplayers at most cons.

They’re easy to spot...just follow the drooling fanboys.
