Never heard of a house stolen, but, if we don’t tie ours to the dock, ours will float away.
A friend had a house stolen in Anchorage during the pipeline. He was on the North Slope and had the house rented. After the rent checks stopped, he went to see about it.
He found that it had been gone for about six months. The neighbors remembered it being moved but, it had been so long, no one could remember a name on the truck. They never did find it. Lucky them, he is doing life+ for murder over a lot less.
