The last airborne units at the 101st were terminated within the past several years. That was their Pathfinder[2013 last jump status] and LRS[2006] detachment. They are all legs now.

The point is that they have not been an Airborne Division since before the Vietnam War ended.

Generally, I think that most of us think of around 1967 as being when they ceased being the old 101st Airborne.
