Now its reported that Obama is starting a ban on ammunition. Cuidado America.
The signs have no legal authority. I mean, they can ban you from the mall or something if they see the guns, but that’s about it.

The Maul of America used to be one of my favorite places to go when I visited my grandparents up in Minnesota (loved Camp Snoopy and bought a lot of lego sets at Legoland). Now, with the arcades gone and my interests leaning towards sporting goods and tactical gear (granted, few malls have stores geared towards that stuff), it’s lost its appeal.
This can all be fixed easily. Where the mall stores are staffing up, replace the “HELP WANTED” signs with “TERRORISTS WANTED” signs. With jobs, they won’t want to blow things up anymore.
Too many idiots in malls. I do most of my shopping on Amazon. Sit back with a cup of coffee, very relaxing. Better than getting blown up.

A few hundred Minnesota democrats are removed from their grim, useless lives. While they will continue to vote, there will be a subtraction from spontaneous union demonstrations and two minute hates.
The marginally brighter ones might question the usefulness of "no guns allowed" signs, but only a class action lawsuit, based on a failure to provide protection, that bankrupts the owners of the mall, will make the point.
It might even raise questions about the fiscal return on giving bribes to Leftists.
When will people realize that a gun in the pocket of a government approved carrier is less of a threat than a gun which must be left, frequently unsecured, in a vehicle? I’ve not seen stats for guns stolen from vehicles, but I’d bet there’s a higher percentage around gun free zones. And yes, let’s not forget how often criminals obey the rules - like rarely if ever and never when it suits their purpose. I’m sure these signs will scare away those with criminal intent.
Taking another point of view, the government is willing to accept losses in order to keep the sheep in line. Without guard dogs around, the wolves will easily control the sheep and pick off one whenever it suits them (with thanks to American Sniper for the analogy).
