It fits the pursuers of world government's efforts to pretend that people are interchangeable too nicely to be accidental. The way that the Left in Academia immediately adopts all changes in nomenclature, which point in such direction, clearly demonstrates that it is not accidental.
Note, when was the last time that you saw or heard a prominent Leftist ideologue refer to England or Great Britain as a "mother country."
