Juan Williams Defends Suspected Brooklyn Jihadists, Says They’re Not ‘Monsters’
By Jack Coleman | February 25, 2015 | 9:17 PM EST
And liberals wonder why they’re so often seen as sympathetic to Islamists.
Fox News analyst Juan Williams contributed mightily to that perception with comments he made today on Fox’s late afternoon show The Five.
The discussion centered around the arrests of three Brooklyn residents, all foreign nationals, who allegedly planned to travel to Syria and join ISIS for the purpose of waging jihad.
After downplaying the threat from homegrown jihadists, Williams diverted attention to what he considered the actual danger facing Americans —
If only we could create more jobs for middle class Brits.
I’ve posted about this book on FR on more than a few occasions over the years.
I read it back in 2004. I still have it.
It is an absolute eye-opener about who the Saudis REALLY are.
This book is likely available at your library or cheaply thr Amazon.com.
I would encourage all Freepers to put this book on your mandatory reading list. It really changed my perceptions about who the Saudis are.
Midnight basketball, too.
Qatar: A backer of international jihad terror from Nigeria to Gaza to Syria and Iraq
September 29, 2014 9:55 am By Robert Spencer
In light of the wars and violent turbulence that currently engulf the Middle East and parts of Africa, a coalition of concerned citizens, journalists, and activists are launching a campaign to expose a most infamous and pernicious sponsor of Islamic terror: the Gulf state of Qatar.
Qatar, (pronounced cutter, or gutter), is, per capita, the richest country in the world ($93,352 in 2013). This is partly due to the fact that they control the third largest natural gas reserves in the world, the North Dome field in the Persian Gulf. It is also because Qatar has a mere 278,000 citizens, with a total population of 2.05 million; the remaining people in Qatar are a mix of well-paid ex-pats from countries such as the United States and Great Britain, and a substantial slave labor population.
A backer of international terror from Nigeria to Gaza to Syria and Iraq, the Qatari ruling family, the al-Thanis, exploit Islamic jihadi groups and their ties to illicit smuggling.
What is being smuggled? Mostly narcotics and people slaves.
Unfortunately, the United States is integrated into the Qatari economy as much as any other developed nation. Doha, Qatars capital, is home to two of the largest American military bases in the entire world, as well as familiar companies like ExxonMobil, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin. Doha also hosts a number of campuses for prestigious American universities, such as Georgetown, Carnegie Mellon, and Cornell. Other companies and organizations, ranging from the film production company Miramax to financial behemoths like Bank of America, have accepted significant amounts of investment by the al-Thanis.
Hamas, a Qatari client, launched a war against Israel this summer. There is an ongoing genocide across Iraq and Syria, with mass graves and grisly beheadings of Christians and Shiite Muslims. Boko Haram continues to rampage across Nigeria, threatening the political stability of Africas largest economy and population. Qatari fingerprints are on each of these crises.
It is offensive to all people of British descent that a Yemenite Arab is called a “Briton.”
If only Jihadi John - this college educated wealthy Brit had a job - any job - maybe even a job at Walmart... all the beheadings, rapes, tortures, burnings... AND the selling of humans into slavery would NEVER NEVER HAVE HAPPENED.
Time to gear up job training programs - throw in some midnight basketball... We can save the world. Liberal elites are sooooooo superior to the rest of us. Thank God for their brilliance.
It is probably offensive to the Yemenite, also. The confusion of geography with ethnicity, has been too carefully orchestrated to be purely accidental. It fits the pursuers of world government's efforts to pretend that people are interchangeable too nicely to be accidental. The way that the Left in Academia immediately adopts all changes in nomenclature, which point in such direction, clearly demonstrates that it is not accidental.
Note, when was the last time that you saw or heard a prominent Leftist ideologue refer to England or Great Britain as a "mother country."
Much of the youth is being systematically indoctrinated with the cloud-borne fantasies of the Left, and this word game is part of the pattern.
To understand what is really involved in the make-believe world of human interchangeability, and the direct threat to national sovereignty, see Surrender By Subterfuge.
We have been losing the fight for reality for over half a century.
Yeah - he told you you could keep your doctor too...
And Obama told you that you could keep your internet too...
Wasn’t he identified several months ago or is this a new one?
Thank you for the link. This one sentence says a great deal:
The great paradox is that those who believe that the nations of the earth cannot be trusted not to destroy one another, seem to believe that their peoples may somehow be merged to mutual benefit.
Of course, Cousins had the help of various intellectually corrupt academics in various disciplines (Myths & Myth Makers.)
$20 million in gold for him dead or alive preferably dead. He does not deserve the niceties of a court trial, but face a military tribunal as a war criminal and promptly being hanged.
