Think of the consequences if they rule that words have no meaning. There can no longer be any censorship. You can testify falsely. You can yell “Fire” in a theater. You can call out “Hi Jack” in an airport. In other words, anarchy.

Words will still have meaning for the Hoy Polly, but not for the political class.
So the laws will still apply to US, not them. The alphabet agencies will contine to enforce whatever the political class want just not against them.
