Ok, so their winged smoke bombs work against a plywood mockup that does not fight back. Whatever else we do, lets allow them to think of this as a great and glorious victory and example of their military prowess.

Looked to me like it was about 1/5 “life-size.”
And it didn’t shoot back.
The guys driving those little boats are going to be surprised when they meet Mr. CIWS.

The real carrier might prove to be a bit tougher.

ONE GOOD missile should have vaporized a model boat of any size. I would think.

There are few, if any navies on Earth, capable of challenging a U.S. Carrier and Iran isn’t one of them.

Modern naval battles are fought outside of visual range, which I assume is outside the range of Iran’s weapons.

The attack ships got awfully close to the carrier, which was floating alone, unpowered and without air support. Here is what the "enemy" carrier group actually comprises. There would be a few other attack ships to get past before the dinghys could pull alonside a carrier . . .

Does anyone think that owebama’s ROE would let a US carrier shoot back?

I once dropped a bowling ball from an airplane. It had about the same affect.

As a live fire exercise-type video, it’s kinda neat! Who wouldn’t want to build a scale aircraft carrier and bomb it with, say, radio controlled planes?
But I don’t think that barge even sank, did it? Unconvincing as a demonstration of power. It would have been better propaganda if it had dramatically rolled over and sank.

The purpose of the video is to send it to the remote areas where they recruit terrorists to show Iran’s sinking of a US carrier......for reals.
