CHICAGO - After failing to persuade a majority of Chicago voters to back his re-election bid, Mayor Rahm Emanuel could face an even stiffer challenge in April against a runoff opponent aiming to consolidate the support of residents unhappy with how the former White House chief of staff has managed the nation's third-largest city.

Rahm will win, but the run-off is a good thing. He’ll have to spend lots more of his campaign cash.
Run-off against Chuy Garcia!
At least he doesn’t have to campaign against Michelle “Chewbacca” Robinson!
Fun to watch from afar! (I'm happy I don't work in Chicago any more!)
Rahm is obviously a racist blocking a hued person from gaining power. Rahm needs to check his dancer privilege .
After Rahm "raised" and spent all that campaign money?
EDITED NEWS REPORT With Emanuels (cough) name recognition has come much more spending and fundraising.
Since leaving the White House as President Obamas chief of staff in 2010 to run for mayor the first time around, Emanuel (cough) raised about $30 million..... $15 million alone for this election-----an eye-popping four times as much as the total of his four challengers combined.
Chuy Garcia (backed by MoveOn.org, the progressive group begging Senator Elizabeth Warren to run for president) has raised about $1 million, mostly in teachers union money.
Plus---Emanuel is spending freely, nearly $7 million to monopolize the airwaves with ads.
Rahm ran 4,600 TV ads since Nov.......while his opponents are nearly invisible.
I hear the sounds of voting machines being tampered with right now.
Jesus v. Rahm.
Of course, if Jesus wins, it will be called Chuycago.
I disagree about MoveOn. They’re not progressive, since liberal ideas don’t cause progress.
