Just asked a simple question Johnny.

Curious...are you qualified and or do you now have a CHL?

If you do not qualify...then this may explain why you are so dogmatic in regards to avoiding the permitting process.

If you currently hold a CHL, then you too have participated in the unconstitutional process.

sooooo?

I qualify for a permit, but years ago, I decided I wouldn't participate in an unconstitutional process, so I put my money where my mouth is, and carry without a permit.

I am dogmatic because of the Constitution. That's the only reason I need.

Why are you so weak when it comes to the Constitution?

For me, the problem with your attitude is, you give up before trying. We may not get constitutional carry now but we will still try to get it.

I've worked with the state Republican party regarding getting bills passed in the legislature. While trying to get picture ID passed for voting, we brought it up every time the legislature met, every two years. It took several legislative sessions, to finally get it passed. If we had not TRIED to get it passed every time, we would have never gotten it.

Constitutional carry is the same. There needs to be a bill for it in every legislature session until it passes, and that includes this year.

My deceased husband and I, wrote a bill to guarantee fair counting of ballots in every county in Texas the night of any federal election. Before we wrote that bill, the person in charge of central counting (either the county clerk or election officer), could keep the other party out of central counting. If that person was a Democrat, he/she could keep Republicans out of central counting and that was happening in numerous counties. The same could happen if that person was a Republican - could keep Democrats out of central counting on election night. I never knew of any Republican county clerk or election officer, doing that.

Once we wrote the bill, we sent it to our State Senator. He carried the bill for us and it passed the State House and State Senate without a word changed and without a dissenting vote - it became law then and still is and will always be. I don't think the Democrats read that bill or they would have voted against it as it stopped Democrats from keeping Republicans out of central counting.

So when you vote in Texas, your ballot, at the end of election day in your county, is counted with all the others, at central counting following the law we wrote.

I know how bills get passed through our legislature because I've done it with the bill we wrote and seen it done with others such as Picture ID for voting when it took us years to get it done, filing the bill every time.

If you don't buy a Texas raffle ticket, you surely won't win. If you don't file a bill in the legislature, you surely won't get it passed into law.

So, do you own a television and watch television news? It's a simple question.

Yep, sure do. I have all of the above. I’ve also exercised my constitutional rights by becoming a CHL holder and have been since the mid 90’s.

I’m not ashamed to admit that I had to undergo the unconstitutional process in order to gain back my ability to defend myself and family. I am neither a republican or a democrat, I am a staunch constitutional conservative.

Going through the permitting process/training was actually very simple and painless. Now, I have the ability to NOT become a victim when out and about.

So, there, I’ve answered your question. How bout you? Have a CHL currently or are you unable to obtain a license?

Never mind J, I’ll let’cha off the hook, it is your constitutional right not to answer the question.

Read my previous reply. I qualify for the permitting process and even went through the training.

I did NOT choose to participate in an unconstitutional process, so I didn't get a CHL.

You are lukewarm, at best.

I carry concealed as well, and am nobody's victim.

I just don't apply to the state for permission like you do.

Geez man, don’t be so on task. I was referring only to myself...not you. Sorry you read into it that way.

I must say though, apart from castle doctrine in a person’s vehicle, it is against the law to carry concealed on ones person w/o a lic.. If a person is found to have violated that law, constitutional and or permitted will cease to be an option, like somewhere around...forever.

Again not referring to you, I am quite certain you are a law abiding fella.

God bless Johnny and I wish you all the best. I really do.

I have no problem breaking unconstitutional laws. It's part of the fight. And being squeaky clean so the lawsuit works is part of the process.

I have no other way, but to be on task. It's what gets stuff done.

Being a keyboard warrior doesn't get squat done.

Again... I do not abide or follow unconstitutional laws. That means I get to break lots of laws. I have no problem with that.

Freedom is something you fight for, even if that means losing status, things, freedom and property. Otherwise, it's just posturing and keyboard warrioring.

I may die, but I won't surrender.

Take away my birthday?

I wouldn't mind this as I have had enough birthdays and would like to just stay this age rather than advancing any higher.

I hear you Johnny... heard about the terminal issue. Sorry to hear it. I’ve read a lot of your posts over the years.

At the end of the day, we’re ALL terminal eventually.

You’re a Patriot, and a fine American.
