George W. Bush and John Kerry both attended Yale and had very similar GPAs, but the media never portrayed Kerry as stupid because he's on their side. Both were sons of wealth who spent a lot of their time on extra-curricular activities rather than studying to get the best possible grades. Bush has called himself a C student but he got a lot of B's, in the time before grade inflation. If he had spent more time studying and less time partying, probably some of those would have been A's.

GWB is a much harder worker than BHO. He probably read a far larger number of books in his years as President than Obama has. Of course he had a harder job--he was trying to build up the country rather than to tear it down.

"...George W. Bush was a Texan with an accent and without a cosmopolitan affectation, who was prone to mispronouncing words, jumbling sentences, and being less-than-elite in his off-the-cuff remarks. Progressives still put insist that President Bush was just a dummy more than one full presidential term after he left office. Slate's Jacob Weisberg made a regular habit of discussing Bush's perceived mental inadequacies. And lest we think this was indeed a reaction to the actual policies of the Bush Administration, attacks on his intellectual capabilities were a feature of the Gore campaign against Bush in 2000. And there was a famous internet hoax that purported to have academics "prove" that President Bush had the lowest IQ of any president ever..."

If you read the pap put forth by the media, you would be able to definitively answer this question: Who was the last intelligent Republican President?

Answer: It might possibly have been Richard Nixon, but he was totally evil instead.

Ann Coulter has touched accurately on this in her writing: Republicans are either stupid or evil. There is no middle ground.

But Obama, Clinton, Carter and LBJ, well...they were all smart.

None of them were conservative, though

He is the living embodiment of he old adage, “If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.”
