Yeah. There were several levels of propaganda going on last night.
One that no one seems to be talking about is the fact that the Oscars are suddenly all about families. J.K. Simmons actually does have some conservative leanings so his comments weren’t out of character. What was out of character was the media fixation with families and the Hollywood types who suddenly decided to bring their families. Even the chef catering the event was interviewed and had his kids with him.
Even Lady Gaga was downright classy and very traditional despite the bugles tattooed on her arms. Long white gown, singing The Hills are alive with the sound of Music with tuxedoed and topphatted dancers. It looked like something you would expect from the Oscars in the 1950s.
What bothers me about it is the fact that it comes at a time when the left are trying to revamp their image to appear more traditional while still clinging to their rabid imorality. (Fool the people)
