And given the history of the kind of diseased "Red" personalities </off The Color Book, on personality types> that seek power to fill the void created by their moral liabilities, it's almost inevitable that people like that look on a free Republic like ours the way a starving man looks at a smorgasbord.
Anyone who thinks "it can't happen here" or "Obama isn't a bit like that, never mind that he was raised by Communists", needs to read Alexander Solzhenitsyn's The Gulag Archipelago, at least the first few chapters in which he describes the climb to power of V. I. Lenin and his Politburo colleagues, and the subsequent rise and exterminative career of Josef Stalin.
