Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani has generated a firestorm by asserting, at a fundraiser for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, “I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the President loves America.”
Of course, that’s nuts. Barack Obama’s deep and true love for our country has been a hallmark of his career. “In no other country on Earth,” he said when he was seeking the presidency, “is my story even possible.” Obama said this, it should be noted, in his masterly speech on race — an issue that is America’s most difficult and tortured. If you can proudly assert your love of country in a speech addressing the legacy of what he called, “America’s original sin” — slavery — you really love this country.
But it got me to thinking: How do you show love of country?
Sure, you fly the flag in front of your house — as Obama does. Perhaps you wear a flag pin on your lapel — as Obama does. But love of country demands more than mere flag-waving. Let me suggest the top 10 ways all of us can show we love America:
10. Support a strong central government. The Articles of Confederation were a disaster. The U.S. Constitution was designed by men who wanted a strong central government so as to build unity, strengthen the economy and defend the homeland.
9. Be skeptical of too much centralized governmental power. Inconsistent? Well, that tension is at the heart of the American experience. George Washington and Alexander Hamilton wanted national strength; Thomas Jefferson and James Madison did not. To truly love America is to hold both ideas in your head at once.
8. Embrace immigrants....

Not to quote Mr. Robinson (who I do not know personally) but you sir are ignorant it you claim to do so. Claiming pro-life has nothing to do with our discussion so why did you bring it up except for your own vanity.

Notice how Paul Begala portrays himself as the most level headed and informed world traveler, always listening thoroughly to both sides, while his “conservative friends” are apparently running around screaming in complete ignorance at politicians they disagree with. And for good measure, as if we’ll never get enough cliché, towards the end he blames Bush for the Iraq war.

The left knows now that America has caught on to Obama’s Saul Alinsky agenda.Rudy put paid to what America feels and the left does not like it onebit, they sqirm like leeches sprinled with salt and vinegar.
Let Obama say what he wants but we no longer listen to his lies and posturing for image creation. His actions show that he certainly has no love for America, which he regards as a neo-colonial nation that has overstepped itself. He has traduced our alliance with Japan, by not putting North Korea in its place and strengthening the Pacific Fleet.He has traduced our alliances with Israel, Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, with the view that the Obama induced Arab Spring would liberate those nations from alleged tyranny into the far greater tyranny of Sharia Law.
In short the word is out. Obama does not love America, is an apologist for America’s brilliant history, and has caused millions of deaths with his pseudo liberation approach to international politics, which has resulted in a greater tyranny of Sharia Law and jihad that he refuses to acknowledge, causing the deaths of those millions along the way.
You bet Obama doesn’t love America. Our allies do not love Obama, neither do the People. Its way past time Obama was banished into the dust bin of history as the sophomoric, banal psychopomp he truly is, altogether a ruination of our free nation by the Obama Liberal Fascist movement, that supports the Muslim brotherhoods “freedom fighters” for Sharia Law and its inhumane suppressions, one law for whites, another law for minorities, and damn the Constitution itslef.
And Bibi Nethanyahu is about to bore hima a new a$$haole do , accomplishing what Congress has refused or failed to do. Thats to be celebrated.

Obama loves America in the same sense that a tapeworm loves your innards.
There is no admiration, no desire to emulate or honor, no understanding beyond the ability to feed off it.
Rudy has done the unthinkable, and told the truth or something close to it about the Anointed One. He will be destroyed for it.
Dear Leader’s wife was never proud of our country until her husband was elected. I suspect she is reflecting his feelings as well. Clearly these two so-called well educated people don’t understand the history of our country. Do they love it? Doubtful.

Really, is that all you can come up with? You ought to be ashamed of yourself and really do more googling about the subject you are complaining about. I rest my case.
I might mention that all of the really silly complaints that I get online all have very religious profiles. Wonder if that is a common thread these days - and are all of them a bit creepy or are they really sincere. Just watched Left Behind and am wondering why you are still here.
He loves America the same way Begala does. AFter all the hatred of America is what the Party has sold for 50 years.

I refuse to use Google since it's run by atheists and the most vile of leftists. The search facility on Free Republic is my means to find information without the anti-Christian, leftist bias of Google. Between the Bible, the Constitution and Free Republic, I find virtually everything worth knowing in those time-tested sources.
It's clear that we have a fundamental difference since I value a pro-life stance. God and the life He Gives us are foremost and are the foundation of America.
