Or if our troops are there, the vacuum doesn’t exist hence the ridiculous withdrawal of our troops.

I wonder if the Christians of Iraq, who were ruined by Bush's policies, would agree.

Some more gems from Seymour Hersh:

Seymour Hersh: military hates Obama because they’re racists and he’s black (the guy is nutz!)

I don’t think Bush predicted this level of duplicity from his predecessor. I don’t think anyone expected it to be this bad.

Not predecessor but successor.

So we'll begin with the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.

Daniel 7:8 "While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little one, which came up among them; and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a human being and a mouth that spoke boastfully.

The little horn (short guy) in Daniel 7:8 is the ruler/anti-Christ and after he rises three kings are uprooted.

Muammur Kaddafi was the third king uprooted, the other two, Hosni Mubarak and Saddam Hussein. And uprooted is the perfect word as these three had nearly 100 years of combined rule in the M.E. No small feat indeed. Psalm 83 contains the 'list' of the ten nations from Daniel and Revelation.

Now, who arose in the M.E. before Saddam Hussein was uprooted?

Thanks. I enjoy playing, especially with people who believe the Middle East situation has improved with the removal of Saddam.

Sure.

Saddam was a mortal enemy of Islamic fundamentalists and kept them in check. Is this a fact in dispute?

Israel has enough firepower, including nuclear, to destroy all of its enemies.

They have had it for quite some time. Saddam was scum, but he helped prevent the chaos that has taken over the region since we deleted him.

It’s degraded dramatically interfering with Assad, which produced the current ISIS situation. And I never said that about Saddam, you did. Why are you so narrow minded?

Keeping troops in Iraq in perpetuity would have served the purpose of having more Americans dead and maimed. What is the end game to that strategy?

An occupying force is inevitable doomed.

Bush was an idiot. The fact that Obama is an idiot does not alter that.

I am the one seeing the entire picture of two inept presidents causing horrific problems. You seem to only see one.

Actually not. I see the current situation caused be attacking a sovereign nation, placing armed terrorists in that country, that have used Sarin gas against civilians, who have massacred civilians, and now many of those terrorists have joined ISIS, which is now spilling over into several nations. Iraq can’t defend itself, because of Bush, Syria can’t defend itself because of Obama, Libya can’t defend itself because of Obama, Egypt can’t defend itself because of Obama and now ISIS is looking at Lebanon, Jordan and Yemen. Yemen Obama just lost to terrorists, and he just shipped arms to Lebanon, that will be captured by ISIS soon. I see the complete failure. Yes Bush contributed, but the policies of Obama are the worse policies every. And they get worse over there each day. Now the WH wants to train new groups of terrorists to try to kill Assad. That will just empower ISIS more. Complete failure. The genie is way out of the box and will never go back in again

Good to see that you understand how this all started.

Some others here, seemingly don’t.

Proves absolutely nothing, zero about your assertion that because of what happened during the Iraq War ISIS was created. You cannot prove that nor can anyone else or disprove it for that matter. It is simply conjecture on your part.

It’s entirely likely that an American OpFor would have prevented a lot of what happened. That is, under a different president. We have no eyes and ears now. A stitch in time saves nine has never been truer. Clinton poked out our eyes, and sealed up our ears and we got 9/11.

You keep ignoring. Try again.

If Saddam was still in power, would ISIS have control of any of Iraq?

I ignore nothing. You assert that if Saddam was in power they would not be. Prove it, back it up or....you know what to do.
