Have CCL a Springfield XDM .40 cal for five years with one in the tube at all times. I'm not with the IDF so I don't carry Israeli. When the brown stuff hits the fan it is not the time to be racking a slide. If your are not comfortable it's a lack of training and time on the range. I qualify every month with a 100 rounds or more.

I’ve got a lot of range time, and I am confident in my skills, but I do not carry a pistol on my person. I carry a knife and pepper spray, but that’s it.

My guns are for home defense and car defense. My .44 revolver does stay loaded and ready, but it’s too big for the car. The auto pistol is for the car, but yeah I do not leave one chambered. I just have a fear of that, I hope it doesn’t ever cost me.
