Very, very glad that Rudy didn’t backtrack on any of his remarks. Megan Kelly tried on Thursday night to get him to do so but he stood his ground just great. She seemed irritated that he made his remarks and that wasn’t classy of her at all.. Apparently in spite of her many segments blasting the president, she still refuses to believe what many of us have seen for years..... She probably is influenced by O’Reilly who has never seen proof that the man is a muslim....It doesn’t make sense for either one of them to criticize his actions and policies because those are decided precisely because of WHO and WHAT he is. They are seeing 80% of the picture and denying the remainder.
There must be pressure from FNC higher ups to “not go there”. Because surely they know that their Audience numbers will EXPLODE if they started saying the truthful things that real people already know about obama. People don’t tune in to fox to hear OReilly and Megyn back off of the obvious. It’s just that fox is the best of the options......
Fox News is not the conservative movement’s mouthpiece, instead they exist to market advertising airtime.
They will avoid truth where truth hurts profitability.
Hannity hurt profitability, so he was moved.
Alan Colmes hurt profitability out of shear repulsiveness - his illogical arguements and his asymetric skyward eyebrow.
I was also lifted in Spirit to see Rudy stand his ground and then make SENSE by pointing out the OBVIOUS.
Too many people were affected by Rudy's comments to undo what he said. Eyes were OPENED when he couched it in those terms.
That's GOOD... very GOOD.
