Why the sudden interest in banning this? It’s been around for a long time. Body armor has been around for a long time.

It isn't armor piercing. I watch a youtube video the other day - a guy put 90, yes 90 not a typo, rounds of M855 into a chest plate at around 50 yrds. Other than knocking the anti-spall coat off the front there was no effect.

Yeh forget M855 the cops should be more worried about some guy shooting them with a 30-06. That will go through them, their vest and the guy behind them. So now will they try to ban that also? Its a never ending snowball.
