Of all the troubling things of this comrade’s time in office, and they are many, this is the worst. If this almost 50% figure is anywhere near the truth, then the situation is far worse than any of us imagine. With all that has happened under the comrade, it should be no more than about 20%, if even that much.
The point is, he was higher a week ago. He’s never been below 38% at any time in the past 6 years. At the time of the ‘14 elections, he was at 40 %, then started to climb and hit 50% approval for the first time in two years on January 26. He has dropped 6 points in the past week. My guess is that the rise in gas prices is the reason ,among the many people who pay little attention to politics.
