LOL, it's one thing to preach doctrine about God - it's another thing to have a personal experience! That's not allowed! And do you know why? Because if the infinite, eternal, vast, immortal Creator of the entire universe were to appear in a way that clerics haven't predicted or authorized, well, that's just impossible. There are no errors or limitations in the faith, there are no new teachings from God, and anyone with the audacity to actually speak about an experience they received through the infinite power, knowledge and love from God's actual presence that doesn't correspond with clerical approval is either a liar, insane, or both.
And you know, it's all really so unnecessary. If God would just file an Intention To Make An Appearance so that it can be reviewed and approved by the Appearance Review Board for each faith, these things could proceed without any frivolous misunderstandings by the Great Unwashed.
If his God can’t keep scriptures accurate, his God is way too small.
I doubt God has a gender or age.
We die into our expectations. All NDE reports give insight, but the insight is into the person reporting them as much as what they report.
If logic has anything to do with the issue, an Entity capable if creation, ex nihilo, has little need for a gendered role in reproduction.

From those verses, God seems to be a man but He calls Himself:
“Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” “I AM” does not denote male or female.
Catholics (I am one) revere Mary so it could have been Mary or an angel he thought was Mary.
I doubt he will be allowed to minister to a church again.
