WASHINGTON -- In the fight against violent extremism, President Barack Obama has argued the U.S. has one thing going for it that Europe doesn't: a long tradition of warmly embracing its immigrants, including Muslims.
With the Islamic State group spreading and terrorists gaining strength in the Mideast and Africa, Obama has sought to use this week's White House summit on violent extremism to urge the world to broaden its response far beyond military interventions. U.S. airstrikes have managed to blunt some of the militants' gains in Iraq and Syria, but they don't address the extreme ideologies that underpin deadly groups such as IS, al-Shabab and Boko Haram.
"If we're going to prevent people from being susceptible to the false promises of extremism, then the international community has to offer something better - and the United States intends to do its part," Obama told the summit Wednesday. He planned to speak again Thursday when delegates from about 65 countries gather for the summit's closing session at the State Department.
But not all Muslim-Americans feel like full members of American society, and security experts warned against assuming that the U.S. is impervious to those who seek to recruit and radicalize.

I am highly unlikely to embrace the muslim mother I saw in my supermarket last month. Dressed like an American except for the headscarf, had a 9-year-old boy in tow who was marching around in a camouflage t-shirt with a scowl on his face. The long game was pretty apparent.

Just thinking back what it was like thirty years ago when the name (m)uslims or (i)slam hardly ever came up in any conversation, neither were radicals or terrorists. Sure here and there were some radical loonies, but nothing what couldn’t easily be controlled.
It used to be a breeze at times evens a pleasure getting in and out of an airport, now it’s like accessing some secure governmental installation. Not to mention all the money this country had spent, all related in some form or another to this cult by some referred to as the religion of peace. And to top it off getting many of our people killed in the process to boot. Not to mention 9/11.
Unless some of these airheads in our administration with their heads stuck in a cloud come to their senses I believe we haven’t seen anything yet. I just can’t help the feeling that sooner or later it will take an event what will even put 9/11 to shame to serve as the final wakeup call. Where and when is still up for grabs but there is little doubt in my mind that somewhere someplace individuals are working on an encore to top what happened to the Twin Towers and elsewhere.
I have absolutely nothing against any religion even so I can either take them or leave them, as long as they just stick to the religious part, and if someone likes to pray half a dozen times a day that’s fine with me as well. But once it comes down to forcing people against their will do believe in what they don’t like, or even kill them if they happen to change their minds as well as other senseless killings and other outdated gobbledygook ideas, this is where I draw the line.

How about calling on Libyans or Syrians to to embrace their Christians. We all know not to waste our breath because we already know the bloody answer.
If you have read the Koran, you can easily see that at its core, Islam is an ideology based on the brutal exercise of power. Further, the deity of Islam appears to not be powerful enough to protect its own interest and must rely on fervent followers to do its killing for it. Islam at its core is antithetical to liberal western society.
We are scolded by our betters, like Imam Obama that people who are “extreme” have “hijacked” this religion. But it seems to me that there are people who follow what the Koran and Hadith demand of a Muslim and it is clear that a lot of Muslims are just like a lot of Protestants- they just cannot bring themselves to follow what their sacred texts require.
The Muslims themselves will say that their are only Muslims who follow the Koran and ones that dont’, who are apostate. Based on what I read with my own eyes, the Muslims in ISIS are more fully living their lives according to the Koran than are so-called “moderates”.
This should not be a surprise. First, the Muslims themselves have a doctrine of taqiyya, meaning telling lies to protect Islam. And with western liberals, he who controls the exact meaning of words gets to control the outcome of any debate.
As Mark Steyn recently asked, who are you going to believe? Your lying eyes or your severed head?

The best way that Muslims don’t get radicalized in the US...is for there not to be any Muslims in the US! Or as few as possible.
