WASHINGTON (AP) — Almost two dozen liberal Democrats on Thursday asked House Speaker John Boehner to postpone Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to a joint meeting of Congress next month.
"It appears that you are using a foreign leader as a political tool against the President," the lawmakers wrote in a letter to Boehner.
Netanyahu's speech is controversial because it comes as the Obama administration is negotiating with Iran over that country's nuclear program — negotiations that Netanyahu says could put Israel at risk. The speech is also set just two weeks before Netanyahu faces voters at home for re-election.

Based on the latest developments, this is no longer about Boehner, not about Netanyahu either.
This is about Iran, nuke-building, and sanctions. Period.
Right you are, Israel is facing total annihilation, and they will not go quietly into the night. They need to speak out (loudly) every chance they get.
They should find out when Biden is in town and change it to that date with the announcement it has been changed to accommodate Biden’s schedule.
Then see what Biden does.
Thanks to Obama’s obsession with Netanyahu’s speech, which has infected both the Democratic party and its myriad media supporters, the speech is becoming so highly publicized it is bound to attract millions of listeners who would not have otherwise paid attention — thus broadening Netanyahu’s audience, to the great benefit of Netanyahu, Israel, and Israel’s supporters, but to the detriment of Obama and his followers who would like the speech to be suppressed.
But, apparently, Obama and his anti-Netanyahu supporters can’t stop themselves from publically talking and fretting about the speech, so that by the time the speech is delivered on March 3rd, every American who has not been in a coma for the past two months will be wondering WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL about this speech, and tune in to find out. The speech should garner the highest TV ratings ever recorded for a speech to Congress.
And since Netanyahu is also scheduled to deliver a speech at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee conference in Washington,DC, between March 1st and 3rd, AIPAC will be at the center of the Obama-created Netanyahu extravaganza, giving AIPAC — one of American liberals’ most despised organizations — a big P.R. boost and media opportunity to deliver its pro-Israel message to the 90-plus-percent of Americans who already support Israel but not as strongly as AIPAC would wish.
