Don’t forget the 4 million conservatives who stayed home.

But the problem with that thinking is they were likely in states that Romney won. So getting them to the polls likely does no good. Unless you have some idea that they were from states that were closely contested.

“Don’t forget the 4 million conservatives who stayed home.”

I won’t. Increase that number by at least 50% if the GOP runs Jeb. He will get royally smoked, IMO.

What states are they in? What states had more votes for a conservative candidate in the past than they had for Romney in 2012?

Don’t forget tho that most, possibly close to all, of those 4 million Conservaltive voters didn’t go to the polls because the effort to turn them out (a big voter-targeting software system named “Orca”) crashed on election day, without any real backup.

There were good stories on that, as well as the Dem’s targeting/turnout systems (Narwal/Catalist) on both Breitbart and PJMedia a last year. I’ll see if I can find them. They were really fascinating insights into how voters are targeted on almost industrial level.

Also, the GOP used a brand spanking new system to drive GOP turnout this year. I read somewhere that it was credited (among other things) with McConnell’s surprise 15-point victory over Grimes in KY and Ed Gillespie’s near miss against Warner in VA.

Yep I think about that a lot. Imagine Romney had won- ISILs, ISIS, Yazidi massacres most likely would not have occurred. Whatever Romney’s faults, he loves America and Israel and would have defended her without any hesitation. Valerie Jarrett, Eric Holder would have been kicked to the curb. Our “bowing” to Iran right now- via Valerie Jarrett’s influence would not be happening. He would not have shunned Israel’s leader. He would not be giving the American people the finger. The whole IRS fiasco. Oh and I wonder if our Seals who were blown out the sky would be alive today if Romney had been President. I truly believed they were betrayed either by the WH or insiders in the WH or cabinet, staff, DHS, ETC.
