Tonight, she joined Wolf Blitzer on CNN’s The Situation Room and attempted to clarify her point.
“I’m not the first person to say something like this,” Harf said. “Military commanders that we’ve had throughout many years here fighting this war on terrorism have said the exact same thing, that in the short term when there’s a threat like ISIL. We’ll take direct military action against these terrorists. We have done that. We are doing that in Iraq and Syria. But longer term, we have to look at how we combat the conditions that can lead people to turn to extremism.”
“So you suggested that maybe if you find these young men jobs, they might not become terrorists?” Blitzer asked, echoing her critics, prompting Harf to call his statement a “gross oversimplification.”
“We cannot kill every terrorist around the world, nor should we try,” Harf said later. “How do you get at the root causes of this? It might be too nuanced an argument for some, like I’ve seen over the last 24 hours some of the commentary out there, but it’s really the smart way that Democrats, Republicans, our partners in the Arab world think we need to combat it.”
Asked how she’s dealing with the criticism she has been receiving for her comments, Harf said, “I don’t read it.”

Marie, may I suggest you and this administration stop nuancing........be direct, say what you mean, instead of making us illiterates read between the lines. You and your caliphate are ISLAMIC sympathizers, which is something you can’t say, so you NUANCE.

I agree with her! And it’s my opinion that this fine lady go over to the Middle East where she can promote a jobs program to the leaders of ISIL.

We killed enough Nazis 70 years ago to end Nazism. Muslims killed enough Christians and Jews over the past 1,500 years to wipe out those religions across a huge swath of Eastern Europe, Middle East, Levant, Northern Africa, and Iberia. The Muslims were thrown out of only small portions of their conquered lands.
Of course we can kill every terrorist. You just won’t do it with the chief terrorist enabler and proponent / Jew-hater muslim in the White House.

I assert that marie is projecting her worldview onto a part of the world that doesnt see you world like she does.
In the us, poverty may be a significant component of trouble. But that particular characteristic does not transfer to all other cultures.
Indeed the majority of the muslim rodents do not come from poverty (the way we define it) or one parent households.
They’re just different. They just want to kill us because we’re not muslim and don’t wanna be.
