os Angeles Times officials are partnering with Jose Vargas, an openly illegal immigrant, for a new editorial venture.
The project is "a multimedia platform which will explore the evolving American identity in the 21st century," read a release.
Vargas is an outspoken activist for immigration reform, particularly reform that would include amnesty for the millions of immigrants living illegally in the U.S. He is also a veteran journalist who came out in 2011 as an unlawful American resident.

The problem is this Mr. illegal Immigrant. We’re not against anyone being with their family members. Honestly we don’t want to really see you deported if you’ve been here for some time. What we have a problem with is when one of your family members comes over and has one, then two, hen three anchor babies and then receive free food, welfare, daycare, healthcare, housing, and educations that the people who foots the bill will never enjoy the same benefits or be denied the same. Now think about those same three babes growing up and having 3 - 5 babies apiece in their teen years and keep multiplying that in finitum. That’s the problem. We can’t afford it nor should we have to.
Actually, I and many others want illegal aliens deported even if they’ve successfully evaded the law for years.
Why not give that job to a tax-paying citizen?

My main point was that we’re not heartless and willing to separate families.
Honestly we don’t want to really see you deported if you’ve been here for some time.
YES WE DO, at least I do, unless ALL Criminals are Granted Blanket Amnesty for the crimes they have committed in the past. Do you worry about the family members of Criminals going to Prison too??
FYI I have a dog in this fight, I paid about $10,000 DOLLARS and went through an Anal Exam by every Federal Agency we have to get my Wife a Green Card The LEGAL WAY! And I had to PERSONALLY FINANCIALLY GUARANTEE she would NOT be a Public Charge for 7 years.
DEPORT EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM!!

My guestion is, if Jose is “openly”, why haven’t we shipped his criminal @$$ home yet? We don’t need an airliner or air conditioned bus. Strap his thieving, lying @$$ to a southbound burro.

Some hit the welfare jackpot and never have to work again especially if they can borrow enough valid citizen’s identities to apply for benefits and loans so they can live it up then retire later back in Mexico several years from now debt free...
