That reminds me of a terrific story on the old Alfred Hitchcock Hour. Woman calls police who find her dead husband bludgeoned to death. She says she was out and came back to find him that way. Meanwhile, delicious smells permeate the apartment and the woman invites the detectives to dine on a leg of lamb that has roasted in the oven. The detectives wonder what weapon was used in the murder as they feast on the leg of lamb (previously frozen). ;o)
