Video below shows the family of a suspected thief lashing out after their son was shot during an armed robbery. Relatives of Adric White, 18, believe the Good Samaritan who opened fire should have "just left the store." The Good Samaritan told FOX10 News he was shopping at the Family Dollar on Stanton road when he noticed a masked gunman leading one of the employees to the front of the store.
"He had the gun to his head. He had him on his knees," said the man. "I drew my gun on him and I said 'Hey don't move.' At that point he swung around and before he had a chance to aim the gun at me I fired. I didn't want to shoot him." "They (the criminals) tend to think that they are the only ones with guns. I've been legally carrying my firearm for a little over four years now, and thank God I've never had to use it until, of course, last night. It just goes to show it's good to have a concealed carry. you never know when your going to need it."
The good news is,he got shot.
The bad news is,he survived.
The parent(s) should have raised their dear child a little better.
Minor point, but on the video, the good Samaritan sounds black himself.
That would be a mercy. ;)

Hey, your boy there was threatening someone else's life. Guess what, that puts his own life at risk because those people he is threatening? Well, they want to go home to their families too. So if your thug has to get shot and possibly die to ensure that, well that's just too da*n bad. He caused the situation, he gets the consequences. Oh, and don't even try that "he wouldn't have shot the clerk" BS. I, we, anybody else has absolutely no reason to believe that. None. Your thug put people's lives in danger, including his own, and he paid the price. Tough luck, but luck of his own making.
That means this will be the last of this story, no way the press covers how a black man with a CCL protected his turf against some thug.

I’ve noticed a common thread in a string of similar shootings.
Due to movies, their collective culture of beating their chests and talking smack, or whatever, these street thugs seem to be under that a Mexican standoff is a normal situation.
When confronted by an armed citizen that has the drop on them, they decide to point their weapon (even if a toy gun) back at the armed citizen. This generally results in a ride to the morgue.
Almost the exact situation happened here in Jacksonville a couple of years ago, and also in a Dollar Store. Two urban yutes decided to use pellet guns to conduct an armed robbery. 50-something white guy stopping to get some milk after work, drew his .45 and told them both to drop their weapons. Yute #1 dropped and fled. Yute #2 decided that he could use his pellet gun to intimidate the good samaritan into dropping his .45. Instead, the gentleman instantly took the yute out with the classic Mozambique drill, two to the chest - one to the head.
Yute #2s momma bitched about it, but it got zero traction.
Because it aligns their view with their image of the world, crooked.
