There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
Sitetest! How have you been, my friend?
Good! I just stay out of Ft. Marcy Park.
I am not a Catholic, but few if any Christian leaders have anything to say about these beheadings or any of the other atrocities being committed against Christians in Africa and the Mideast.
As for me I believe the proper response to the Popes message from everyone should be a loud - “Amen!”
Hope some of the Catholic posters on FR read their pope’s comment about us protestants.
I always thought that the thrones in heaven were one of the nine choirs of angels.
What does Obama and Francis have in common? A liberal agenda.
They both hate capitalism and love homosexuals.
Christians? non catholics? How can this be?
Yes, passive condemnation indeed. As usual, the foolish, feckless Pope, who can’t bring himself to mention the word Islam in any context except a favorable one, blamed the whole thing on “a failure of fraternity” (whatever that is) and the “international arms trade.”
I guess knives and gasoline are now included in that. Without the international arms trade, after all, these Islamic crazies would most certainly be out practicing “fraternity” and helping little old Christian ladies across the street.
