Talk about bad timing.
Echo Lake Entertainment is set to release its independent film, Truth, the story of former CBS anchor Dan Rathers self-destruction. Its based on the 2006 book Truth and Duty: The Press, The President, and the Privilege of Power by Mary Mapes, the discredited CBS producer. Mapes documents and defends Rathers 2004 attempts to use the forged Killian documents to portray former President George W. Bush as someone who shirked duty in Vietnam.

I've searched every where and looked at numerous sites that give information on stats for total book sales. Apparently, it is closely held information that stays hidden so that folks at NYT can publish 'best seller' lists to push their favorite authors with no validity.
Maybe since " Truth and Duty: The Press, the President, and the Privilege of Power" can be bought for $00.65 it can be assumed no one really gives a crap what she has to say except for snotty libs at white wine Seattle socials.

I wouldn't deny that the NYT Best Seller list is politically biased to some extent, but I've been surprised on occasion when conservative themed books by known conservative authors make their list as well.
I know this not from reading the Slimes or their web sites, but by looking around Barnes and Noble Book Stores, who have a running policy of tagging books as "NYT Bestseller" which triggers discounts on them. (I've also heard stories about Barnes and Noble stores placing popular conservative-themed books in locations making it difficult for customers to find them, or not carrying such books at all.)
Mapes' book selling for 65 cents on Amazon currently? LOL!!! Apparently it was pretty much a financial flop, so now some rich lefty in Hollywood is trying to make up the hit she took after the "Bush was AWOL" hoax by giving her a nice film contract. In those circles, it's thought of as a political donation in kind.
More propaganda from spineless Hollywood..
