It's not. However, many people mistake a non-binding opinion that some media should be avoided for "censorship."

I think some women are not reading it because they would like the situation, but because they feel superior to the woman in the book. Sort of like my reading about the Kardashians in the UK Daily Mail.
That is a good analogy that illustrates the problem those women seem to have separating a fictional character and a “reality” show actress-also a fictional character-from real women in the real world...
