It was set on a world where only women lived. For three hundred years, their legends and fables told them that "men" were vicious, dangerous entities not to be trusted in a civilized society.

They had been manipulated by the power structure which produced only female children.

The women of this world were confident and capable. They had been doing everything necessary to survive in this place ever since the colony ship dropped them there.

Someone made the mistake of thinking that a "kinder, gentler" male servant could be devised, which would serve a number of their needs. Scientifically, of course, they were otherwise quite advanced.

And so, the "Reintroduction Of Males Program", R.O.M.P., was initiated.

My story picked up after that.
