The U.S. attorney for has subpoenaed all of the state’s electronic records concerning Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber and his fiancee, Cylvia Hayes, issued the day Kitzhaber announced his resignation.

The subpoena, issued Friday, demands production of a massive trove of data dating back to a year before the governor’s 2010 inauguration and makes it clear that the four-term governor’s troubles will not necessarily end with his departure from office.

The demand for records was issued to the Oregon Department of Administrative Services and seeks “all information, records, and documents” for both Hayes and Kitzhaber.

Kitzhaber announced his resignation Friday, ending weeks of speculation about whether he could lead Oregon with at least two investigations into possible ethical breaches hanging over his head.

The new governor is married to a man, but openly bisexual. So will she have a First Gentleman and First Lady?

Cylvia Hayes to leave Kitz and take up with the new GOV?

"Only if it were a republican."

If Kitzhaber were a Republican, the media would have pulled out all the stops on this three months before the election, not three months after the election.

Now having a bisexual or trisexual governor makes it up to them, don't you think? Yes, another corrupt Democrat governor had to resign, and might even go to jail. But the liberal establishment still gets to **** in the face of the 97%+ of the population with normal sex habits.

It’s a rarity to see a corrupt Democrat actually resign.

A man bites dog story.

"First Lady Cylvia Hayes, a 47-year-old clean energy consultant..."

Just a typical greeny & crony socialist lookin' for taxpayer handouts.

My guess is he's lookin' for more than that.

If the media had done their job BEFORE the election Oregon wouldn’t be in this mess. I assign as much blame to the Oregon AG and Sec. of State for sitting on their hands back in Oct. and the 700,000 voters who voted for this hack in the first place.

My comment was directed toward the “First Lady” - not the Gov.

“The embattled governor faces allegations that his fiancee used their relationship to win contracts for her consulting business and failed to report income on her taxes”

Sounds like the same crap they had Bob McDonnell tried and convicted for!(which I think was totally bogus by the way!)

I cannot open the linked story but did they mention his party affiliation or did they “forget” to reference it?

Not until paragraph EIGHT.

Great news for Oregon.

However, there is no lieutenant governor, so that means the Secretary of State will become governor.

And, I believe will leave office on February 18th, Ash Wednesday — that fits too.
