China has become one of the worlds largest two economies, and is wealthy enough to buy up at least $1.3 trillion of the U.S. debt. But that hasnt stopped Uncle Sam from continuing to send foreign aid to Beijing.
In 2014 the U.S. State Department and its USAID program provided nearly all of the $12.3 million in taxpayer-funded aid set aside for China. And another $6.8 million is on tap for Beijing this year, according to ForeignAssistance.gov.
In the big picture of things, Chinas aid package mostly centered around pollution and pro-democracy programs is a mere drip from a foreign aid spigot that has been as great as $50 billion annually in recent years. But taxpayer watchdogs say its a classic example of the U.S. government not being able to reign in aid on projects whose effectiveness is immeasurable and could easily be funded by the country itself.

I believe we have got the dumbest damn leaders in the world.
Every transfer payment, welfare dollar or squandered congressional 'outlay' is made out of fictional dollars that can't be printed fast enough. as long as the dollar is the reserve currency of the world - we can spend ourselves to death. The problem is when the train runs out of gas.
The gold standard will be used again sometime in the future - when is the question.
GIvan illegals voting, this is soon going to be unecessary and we will sponsor a SinoMexico army on US soil directly
“I believe we have got the dumbest damn leaders in the world.”...
Yup! And most are “college graduates”
How the hell can we be giving China “aid” instead of paying off the debt we own then. What happened to common sense?
And they have been hoarding platinum since the early 90s. ... A strategic metal.
We’re number 1!..........................in stupidity..................
It is not “foreign aid.” A poorer economy doesn’t “aid” an expanding empire. It is purely Tribute money just as all the money that is sent to the Jihadists constitutes National Jizya.
GIvan- troop transport?
Unfortunately we do have some dumb ones. And some malevolent ones. Alas the malevolent leaders are in the ascendancy.
In this day and age, foreign aid from the US, should stop. There are many countries in the world that can afford it now...................
this type of ‘aid’ in the US is called bribe money
Definition:
FOREIGN AID:
Poor people in wealthy countries giving money to wealthy people in poor countries...................
I meant given
But yes... GI vans full of illegal troops is what it is indeed
Btt
“At least they know the house of cards called the federal reserve is doomed.”
I do agree with you but there is just one problem. The
federal reserve holds as collateral all wealth, both
public and private of the United States. When every
square inch of land and anything of value in this
country has been confiscated and transferred to the
people who hold our debt or a war is fought to abolish that debt,
the federal reserve will just keep getting richer and
more powerful.
However, you can cut them off at the knees if you abolish
the 16th amendment. That is where their real power lies.
It’s just that most congressmen and every president is
their pawn, bought and paid for. I’ll be wrong on this the
day the FED is audited.
We,The American people have to be crazy allowing our government to give aide to the Chinese government when there economy is surpassing ours.
What’s worse is we’re almost bankrupt. We don’t have the money.
“$12.3 million in taxpayer-funded aid set aside for China. And another $6.8 million is on tap for Beijing this year”???
Not to sound like some bleeding heart lib, but you could feed a lot of homeless kids in America with that much change!
But it goes into China’s pockets, while we owe them billions, and while “American” companies are dumping former American jobs over there!
Some typos are make for some pretty good copy.
