He raised capital in the West for Uncle Joe, and then he bought an energy company in California that he used to break the Seven Sisters' control of the oil business, which eventually statalized all oil everywhere (a very small slice of worldwide reserves remains in private ownership, the opposite of what obtained in 1935).

What did the chairmanship of a utility company do for Uncle Joe?

The break up of standard Oil would make great grand father working for them unlikely. Since its mentioned that he worked for a company out of Tulsa and the only company solely from there is the company that now holds controlling interest in Solyndra it might explain why 0 is against the pipeline (He’s been declaring income from family trust on taxes)
If I’m correct the entire “dreams from my father” is nothing more then the distraction from a magicians hand
