ISIS fighters seized most of Ramadi – where 300 US Marines are stationed training Iraqi Forces.
Al-Asad base is near the city – where 300 Marines are stationed.
The US Marines at Al-Asad airbase has been under frequent attack since January.
But today ISIS seized large swaths of the city.

The Iraquis are not worth saving if they don’t have the chops to stand up and fight. Get our people out and let Isis kill all the Iraquis left
And if Barry does nothing he will blame Congress for not passing his “authorization of force” proposal.
If he does nothing and the base falls and we lose our Marines he should be shot. No questions asked. Just put one in his forehead.
My son gave served at that airport and thought he was risking his life for a cause. It is sad to see his and others wasted a part of their lives.
Don’t our US Marines carry radios?!

Lesson for the under-informed: Bullets are those little thingies that are expelled from a firearm and travel though the air until eventually reaching a target or falling to the ground.
Bullets are to cartridges as four is to bread, as cement is to concrete, etc. When will you and others that write about technical things ever learn the language?

But given what we know about B. Hussein’s contempt for the military - it’s very likely he could have orchestrated such a sickening scenario as this.

This is a non-story. That base is surrounded by nothing but desert. Bad guys can’t get near it, which is why it was only hit by rockets rather than mortars when I was there. Nobody is “trapped.” It is a giant air base and we can get people in or out at will. ISIS will never take it as long as Marines are there.
AC-130 will work too. Just get it done!
