I can’t believe I’m saying this but things were not this bad under Carter and he was a total incompetnent appeasement monkey.
You know my smart mentor who has beliefs right of the center said the same thing to an extent. Carter was many things and badly screwed up with the Iran Hostage Crisis, but the one thing he did not do was badly divide a nation my friend gave him that but was naive on the economy and world affairs in general
I agree. As bad as things were, it was never this bad.
