Good alliance. I’d like to see it grow. And once we get past B. Hussein, the US should take it’s rightful place there as well.

The US has always had a skewed relationship with India, especially during the Cold War. The US needed China and Pakistan to defeat the Soviet Union and this alliance drove India away from the US. The War on Terror did the same as we needed Pakistan to sustain operations against the Afghans and Taliban.

Perhaps if our elites ever recognize the danger China poses to US interests, India and the US could forge a long lasting economic and strategic partnership.
