Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright became the latest Democratic voice today to take issue with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s upcoming address to Congress. Netanyahu was invited by Speaker John Boehner without consultation of the White House, and several Democrats have indicated they’re boycotting the speech as a result.
Netanyahu has repeatedly insisted his speech is more important that some political fighting over protocol, and assured that he’s not speaking because he wants a “confrontation” with President Obama.
But as far as Albright’s concerned, “he is interfering in our internal affairs.” She explained to Andrea Mitchell, “I don’t want to interfere in Israeli internal affairs. But it strikes me that there’s an awful lot going on in his neighborhood, in the Middle East, and that’s where he should be.”

When was the last time Albright made a public statement about anything?

She served under Clinton, who sent Snakehead to campaign against Netanyahu and successfully got him voted out of office.
Now, years later, Obama is doing the same thing, having sent his campaign team to Israel to try and get Netanyahu voted out of office again.
Boehner invited Netanyahu and also invited Obama to hear the address. Obama is throwing a public tantrum and is now going around trying to find someone, anyone, to back him up on it.
So far only a noisy handful of radicals are prepared to back Obama. So Obama has humiliated himself, but it is his own doing. All he had to do was be polite. But he can’t help himself. He’s afraid someone is going to draw attention to the fact that he is about to sell us out to the ayatollahs.
