Not a problem. I fully expect that Cochran will retire very early in 2016 so that the (Barbour machine) interim replacement will not face a special election but will instead only have to run in the 2016 regularly scheduled elections.
I think Bryant may very well appoint Tubby Barbour himself if and when Thad the Cad goes.
